It's not even sticking. It's just making me cold and wet and sick.
Snow is so overrated.
This weekend I helped my friend Levi with his film. It was basically 28 Days Later, but without zombies (so less cool and more emotional, but in a really cheesey way). This week I get ready for my shoot. I met with the family of the little boy today and they were really nice. I am meeting with my cinematographer tomorrow to go over all of my shots and then with my actors on Tuesday to do blocking. I feel so professional, except not because working long hours doesn't mean a nice paycheck. It just means a headache and the satisfaction that your film MIGHT just turn out mediocre, if you're lucky ;)
I'm just a bit cynical today because it was one of those days where nothing really went right. Plus my internet went out for NO REAL REASON, so I'm pretty bummed (I am currently stealing Paolo's internet while he is at the 'Potraviny'- 'market').
I also feel like a mother to two perfectly capable 20 year old boys who love to leave messes in the kitchen, never buy toilet paper, and never take out the trash. My mother was quite blessed with three angelic daughters, if I do say so myself :)
It will get better. I just wish "spring semester" really meant spring, and not winter. But once the sun returns, I won't care so much about these things. I am looking forward to spring break when I might try to go to Greece, which would be amazing. And also to the end of the semester when my mom will come visit and we will go to Vienna and Budapest and the hot springs in Prague. That will be lovely.
