This is the title of the film I was working on all weekend. It's a love story about a couple who does the sound for movies. The boyfriend is in a coma and the girlfriend visits him everyday in the hospital, reads to him and talks to him. Then we see her all around Prague, recording different aspects of the city that he is missing while he is asleep; the church bells ringing, ambient voices of people in the street, the metro, birds, etc. She brings it to the hospital and puts the headphones on his head. Then she takes them off to listen to his heartbeat. And then she lets him listen to hers, and....his fingers move! THE END! Beautiful. I was just the "runner" which is basically the one who everyone else orders around. But I like to think of it as the most adventurous position. I was sent on great missions of finding birthday cakes, night-lights, candy, shoelaces, a scalpel, and other almost impossible objects to find in Prague. It was fun though. I brought people on my adventures and we rushed through the streets of Prague looking important and very busy. I took lots of pictures of the set, but of course the won't upload here because blogger sucks at that. So I opened a SnapFish account and uploaded them there. Here's the link to the album:

Let me know if that doesn't work and I'll just invite you all via e-mail to see them. Then I will just tell you every time I update the album with new adventures.
This week will be pre-production for my third project. I have all of my actors and my crew. I need to schedule my shots, rehearsals, meetings with my producer, and also fit in my lessons. Film is hard. Avid is getting easier. My writing is getting better, my directing is getting better, my acting is slowly but surely improving, and my understanding of surrealism in Euopean film is getting worse by each class I sit in and watch crazy films as my head cocks to one side and my brow furrows. But I am still loving every single moment. Come visit!
